The Alnowair Troupe is Kuwait’s first-ever student troupe. 20 extraordinary young women, selected from various educational institutions across the country, have come together to achieve something truly remarkable.
Through the transformative power of theatre, these students are tackling the real, raw challenges faced by young females today—issues like bullying, mental health, body image struggles, and peer pressure.
Alnowair Troupe will tour across Kuwait throughout the year visiting schools and universities to deliver powerful performances. Creating safe spaces for dialogue, encouraging emotional resilience, and inspiring the kind of change that starts from within.
The troupe’s logo is inspired by power of being under a spotlight on the stage.
This led to the development of a customised typeface. Playful with a responsible, inspiring and mature tone of voice.
This also reflects the kind of people chosen to be part of the troupe. Those who realise the importance of leading by example, take responsbility, understand accountability for one’s actions BUT also know how to have fun! Those who cherish living in the moment
and all the joy that youth brings.
